Completed the postgraduate certificate in 2010
"It was a privilege to participate as one of twenty students in the first intake of the course.
"We studied four subjects covering the latest on climate change science, carbon emissions, adaptation and the economic impact of climate change. We heard from the country's leading specialists in these areas and engaged them in discussions on practical and local applications and implications of the scientific findings for primary industries.
"The course has given me a wealth of new knowledge, good resource material and valuable contacts that I now use in my day-to-day extension work, helping to develop a horticulture industry that is more resilient and adaptable to the future climate challenges."
