Research themes

PICCC leads research that covers the social, economic, biophysical and policy implications of climate change for the primary industries.

Since its launch in 2011, PICCC has facilitated the development of a large number of projects which are organised into the following overarching research themes:

• Adaptation to climate change
• Methane emissions mitigation
• Modelling of climate change impacts, adaptation and mitigation
• Nitrous oxide emissions management
• Soil carbon management
• Crop growth under elevated carbon dioxide levels (AGFACE)
• Mitigation

The projects listed under these themes represent those where PICCC assisted with project development, funding and hosting of communication activities.
