Adaptation research includes biophysical, economic and social research on developing practical whole farm systems and component solutions for farmers to adapt to the impacts of climate change.
The research focuses on improving our understanding of the impacts of climate change on regions and production systems - such as the impacts of elevated carbon dioxide and temperature on crop and pasture systems, and the impacts of pests, weeds and diseases - providing farmers with practical and adoptable solutions to cope with higher variability and extremes associated with a changing climate.
